Photography is a beautiful thing. It allows us to capture moments, and to create beautiful works of art. It is also one of the most powerful marketing tools in any business’s arsenal.
It is also misunderstood.
We can’t tell you how many times clients approached us with a project, and then last minute said “oh! By the way, can you take some photos too? No big deal, right?” Well, frankly… yes. Yes. Photography is a big deal. A quality photograph, be it product shot or model, takes just as much work to set up as a shot in a film takes. You have all of the same elements at work—you have to have lighting, set, production design, cameras and lenses, make up, wardrobe, direction, props, and editing… not to mention the crew that comes with it. Now, not every project requires all of these people, but you would be surprised by the amount of work that truly goes into a proper photo shoot.
We also take pride in our skills at photo retouching, which is just as vital as the actual photos themselves. While we travel all over the United States, we handle most of our shoots in the Saint Louis and Kansas City areas.
